How to Measure Your Fire Place

First things first. Gas log pricing is dependant upon the size of logs and burner you need. To find your size just follow the steps below.

1. Measure the front width of your fireplace box.
2. Measure the back width of your fireplace box (since most fireplaces are convexly shaped.)
3. Take the average of those measurements by adding them together and divding by 2.
4. Subtract 6 from that number to find the size logs that you will need.

Ex: front width: 37", back width: 23".
37 + 23 = 60/2 = 30 - 6 = 24.

Most log sizes will fall between 18", 24" and 36", but if you need something larger or smaller, there are also specialty sizes available ranging from 12" all the way to 60" in select styles.
