ALUMINUM FRAME FINISHES
To prevent growth of mold and mildew, regular washing and thorough rinsing of the aluminum frame with mild liquid detergent and warm water is suggested and will remove surface dirt, outdoor contaminants and body oils. The periodic application of a good automobile wax on the frame will help extend the life and beauty of your furniture.  NEVER wash your furniture in the swimming pool or use any harsh abrasives or cleaning solutions.  DO NOT store your furniture or table tops in a position that will allow moisture to accumulate inside the tubing or on the top where it may freeze during the winter months.  FREEZE DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!!  If the furniture is placed near a salt-water pool, it suggested that the furniture is rinsed off with clean water from a hose at least twice a month.  The corrosive properties of salt water have been known to cause the finish to peel on some types of powder-coated finishes.  By rinsing off the salt residue, this can be easily avoided.

ALL-WEATHER WICKER
Rattan and wicker frames require very little maintenance.  Vacuum or use a soft brush with mild detergent and warm water to remove soil.  Using a sponge, wash with mild detergent & warm water to remove soil.  Rinse and allow to dry thoroughly before use.  Do not remove the cushion covers to wash and dry in a washer and dryer due to possible damage to the integrity of the covers.

MILDEW
Mildew often forms on dirty surfaces. However, regular cleaning will help to prevent its forming. If mildew stains should develop on non-printed vinyl coated polyester fabric, prepare a mild chlorine bleach and soapy water solution as follows: 1 cup bleach per gallon of water and 2 capfuls mild liquid detergent. Spray on the entire area and allow the mixture to soak in. Rinse it off thoroughly and repeat if necessary.

VINYL STRAPS
Vinyl strapping should be cleaned frequently with mild soap and water. If you own furniture with woven straps or lacing, be sure to lift and clean beneath the strap or lace intersections. Avoid abrasive cleaners. The use of commercial casual furniture cleaners (available at Georgia Backyard) will help lift embedded dirt and oil.  We also recommend periodic waxing of the straps with an automotive paste wax.  We suggest using a towel over the vinyl when using tanning products.

UMBRELLA CARE & MAINTENANCE
Do NOT wash the umbrella or its cover by placing it into the swimming pool or use any harsh abrasives or cleaning solutions and do NOT store the umbrella in a position that will allow moisture or snow to accumulate inside the umbrella frame and/or pole and freeze during the winter months.  WIND  & FREEZE DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!!  The upper pole and ribs of the umbrella should be lubricated occasionally with WD-40 or a similar product. Do NOT spray the lubricant on the umbrella fabric or lubricate the crank mechanism as it may cause discoloration or damage.

UMBRELLA, CUSHION & GLASS WARRANTY
Glass is not warranted.  Extreme care must be taken when using an umbrella in a glass top table.  An umbrella stand should be used under the table to prevent the umbrella from moving.  If at any time wind gusts carry the umbrella, this may cause the table to turn over and possibly break the glass.  As a result, the glass would not be covered under warranty.

Umbrellas and cushions have a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase.  The warranty does not cover natural fading from sunlight.  Umbrellas are warranted structurally (under normal use and conditions).  Please exercise caution when using your umbrella and always close it when it is not in use.  We cannot warranty an umbrella which has been left open and gets damaged from a high gust of wind or due to a storm.

CUSHIONS & FABRICS
NEVER use bleach unless specifically listed as a cleaning agent for your fabric.
The life of your fabric largely depends on its care and use. Certain suntan and sun block products may permanently discolor any fabric. This possibility can be minimized by immediately cleaning after contact. It is important to clean your fabric regularly. In addition, storing your cushions when not in use or using furniture covers will extend their life. Also, fabric life can be extended by simply hosing down your furniture regularly with water. Cushions more dry more quickly if they are on their sides while drying.  Do not take the covers off of the cushions to wash and dry the covers in a mechanical washer and dryer.  This may damage the integrity of the cover.

100% Polyester Prints & 100% Acrylic/Olefin Blends
Promptly remove soil (including suntan oils and lotions) with a solution consisting of two capfuls of mild liquid soap per gallon of water. Be liberal with solution and scrub with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove soap and air dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH OR HARSH DETERGENTS ON ANY PRINTED FARIC.

Polyester/Olefin Blends and Acrylic/Olefin Blends
Clean spills as soon as possible. If a spot remains, use a mild detergent and water solution. Occasionally, add 1 cup of household bleach to the detergent-water solution. Rinse entire cushion or umbrella with water. Air dry.

Acrylic/Polyester Blends and 100% Acrylic Fabrics
Only spot wash with a lukewarm (no warmer than 100 degrees) solution of mild liquid soap and water. Rub briskly with a rough cloth or soft bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove soap. Allow to air dry. Never bleach, harsh detergents or stiff bristle bushes on acrylic blend fabrics.  For stubborn stains and suntan lotions, we recommend our Cushion Cleaner available at our store. Use full strength and apply vigorously with a sponge or clean cloth. Sponge thoroughly with clean water. Allow to air dry.  100% acrylic fabric is heat sensitive. Do not use heat, hot water or bleach.

Acrylic/PVC Blends
Spot wash by sponging briskly with a lukewarm solution of mild liquid soap and water. Sponge thoroughly to remove soap and then air dry. For suntan lotion, use fine fabric cleaner. Do not use Pine Oil cleaners or abrasive household
cleaners.

TABLE TOPS
Natural Granite, Travertine, Slate, Stone, and/or Faux table tops should be cleaned routinely with mild liquid dish soap, warm water and a soft cloth to prevent staining and the growth of mold, mildew and contaminants. Follow with a fresh water rinse and thoroughly dry with another soft cloth. Spills should be removed quickly to avoid any possible staining. This is particularly important in the case of red wines, or citrus juices. The use of coasters is also recommended. Pressure washers, furniture polish, vinegar, petroleum based solvents or cleaners containing acid or abrasives should NOT be used.  For stubborn stains, products such as Windex may be applied. For grout stains, most retail grout cleaners will be effective, however, over time, these cleaners may remove the protective sealant that was applied to the table top during manufacturing requiring the top to be resealed using any commercially available tile and grout sealer such as Aqua Mix.  Follow the instructions carefully when resealing the top as build-up of the sealer may cause discoloration.

Tile table tops should be resealed every 6-12 months.  It takes just a few minutes to distribute an even coat of the sealer and then wipe the top dry.  Airborne dust and dirt can be removed with plain water.  For thorough cleaning, use a pH-neutral cleaner such as Simple Green.  Avoid ammonia-based cleaners, which can break down the sealant.
Tempered Glass and Patterned table tops may be cleaned with any non-ammonia glass cleaner, taking special care not to scratch the top's surface.
