The Ultimate Hot Dog Bar

Posted by Anthony Luckino on

Spring is here and so is grilling season!

While we’re busy spending our days at home with our families and discovering new ways to cook some of our favorite foods, we want to help you liven up what’s usually a straight forward dish: hot dogs. We know, we know, you can put ketchup and mustard on a hot dog and call it a day, but where’s the fun in that? There are so many different kinds of toppings that you can add to your dog to make it truly one-of-a-kind and perfectly suited for your taste buds. Plus, who doesn’t love diving into a food bar and discovering new ways to combine different toppings?

Hot dogs are one of our most favorite—and easiest!—things to cook on our TEC Grill. With the infrared technology, you can ensure the best grill marks on your hot dogs without overcooking or burning them. They’re absolutely delicious when they come off the grill! You’ll want to enhance their flavor by pairing them with some unique toppings.

When it comes to creating the ultimate hot dog bar for you and your family, you’ll want to think beyond just the standard condiments that you can add to your hotdog anywhere. There are no wrong answers when it comes to what to include! Here are some ideas for what you might want to include in your bar:

  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Diced onions
  • Relish
  • Pimento cheese
  • Peppers
  • Sliced avocado
  • Bacon
  • Chili
  • Pickles
  • Tomatoes
  • Jalapeños
  • Salsa
  • Grilled veggies

What are you including in your ultimate hot dog bar this spring? Let us know! When you’re grilling up your hot dogs and setting up your bar, take a photo, and share it with us on social media by tagging @tecgrills, @americanbackyard. We’ll share some of our favorite posts on our Instagram, especially if you include how you’re supporting local businesses in your community while creating your bar.

Fire up those grills—we can’t wait to see what your Ultimate Hot Dog Bar looks like!
